This comprehensive report aims to inform readers about the state of research and pursues an ambitious goal: to help create a framework for investments related to sustainable land management (SLM) practices (or GDT in french). The report is composed of two sections. The first introduces the general principles of SLM and the important issues to be taken into account for scaling up good practice. The second section presents twelve groups of SLM technologies and an illustrated module on the different SLM approaches.
