Mohamed Brik, a farmer since 1997 in a city in Algeria - Laghouat - called "the capital of the oasis", tells us his story
His aim as a farmer was to go back to the roots of agriculture with the help of science and new technologies. It's done thanks to the creation of the Association of Farmers in 2011 in collaboration with the faculty of Agriculture in the University of Laghouat.
They then succed to combine these practices, overcoming all challenges such as adapting to rapid changes, being in continuous learning, interacting with different areas and finding sufficient investments.
This video was commissioned by the European Training Foundation (ETF) based in Turin, and projected at the conference "Skills for the Future" on 22 and 23 November 2018.

Mohamed Brik, agriculteur depuis 1997 dans une ville en Algérie - Laghouat - surnommée « la capitale des oasis », nous raconte son histoire.
Son objectif en tant qu’agriculteur, était de revenir aux racines de l’agriculture avec l’aide de la science et des nouvelles technologies. Chose faite grâce à la création de l’Association des agriculteurs en 2011 en collaboration avec la faculté d’Agriculture de l’Université de Laghouat.
Ils ont alors réussi à combiner ces pratiques, en surmontant plusieurs défis tels que s’adapter aux rapides changements dans ce domaine, être dans un apprentissage continu, échanger avec les différentes communautés du pays et trouver des investissements suffisants.
